Blessed Friday: Money and Marriage Success Tips.
Good morning, awesome people of the world…
Today’s tip on money and marriage is: MENTORS.
I had the great pleasure of meeting Blaire Singer and working with him as his crew in his event in Singapore. And one of the most important thing that I heard him say to us- Do not find a coach who has no coach.. something like that.
So regardless how successful we are, we always need a guide, a teacher, a coach, a mentor.
What are mentors? They are successful people who can advise us, be our guiding light to which path we want to take.
Of course, our Prophet (pbuh) is a great role model for us.
In Marriage, I believe there are people whom we respected and looked up to especially those elders whose marriage lasted beyond 2 decades and more. Some even lasted more than 50 years. Awesome isn’t it? How do they do that?
How do they keep the LOVE glowing thruout their lives? How do they stay sane and be in LOVE always? How do they keep their marriage harmoniously intact?
Don’t you want to know their secrets? Make them your mentors. Learn from them as much. I believe thru out our lives, we have “mentors” aka teachers to guide us along our life.
For Marriage, your closest ones, even your parents or grandparents can be your mentors.
As for Money, find those successful role models and read about them. Find them and learn from them.(For example: Abang Abu-learn from him, go his events and workshops etc) Normally these wealthy successful people are very generous in sharing the secrets of their lives. I know cos I have met many and they always have some life gems to share with me. They have been there.
