AbangAbu had a chanve to do an interview with this mother of three who runs an online fashion business for the past 4 years.

1)What kind of business do you have? What inspired you to become an
Entrepreneur business owner?
I’m into Ladies fashion wear. I have the Passion and interest in designing ladies apparels and making ladies look their best. Provide range of collections for all ages.

2)Did you need to have a certain mindset to achieve success?
YES.1 needs to think big in order to be successful. Think positive & work hard for it.
3)Have you noticed certain advantages to being an entrepreneur business owner?
Working in own time own target.Freedom to think and lead your way to run the business.

4)Is it difficult to get financing for businesses? If so why and are there any solutions?
It is difficult for me to be finance,as the business I’m into have many other people doing it. Unless if u has proper Business planning and something different, am sure that U’ll get finance easily. Solution is you must Network with many other out there whose willing to support & invest.
5)Did you have a mentor to help you get started?
I have no mentor when I started. I go with the flow & what my mind said. J Support from spouse & families!
6)Approximately how much money did you invest before your business became profitable?
I started with abt SGD $S1,500. And it took me 1 year to see the profit. As I kept rolling the cash flow for new products.

7)What resources were most helpful to you when you were starting your
business?
Media such as Newspapers & magazines whom always focus on business tips and more…
8)What ways have you found to be most effective in marketing your product or service to get sales?
Recommendations,promoting via blogs and family members to help resell.
9)What tips can you give others who want to embrace their dream but, don’t have the confidence or feel they don’t have what it takes to succeed?
MUST TRY!! Never say CAN’T!! If others out there who are successful and started from below can do it, so can WE!
10)How do you manage juggling the responsibilities of being a entrepreneur?
Do a time table to manage my time and work. Be firm and stick to what I had plan earlier.
11)What’s next for you?
Aim to see myself having an office of my own in 5 years from now. Promote my collections as wholesale to selected Retails outlets/ sellers. Spread my wings to USA!
