Simple and Powerful

Hi,AA become very busy lately.

Great progresses in many things that i am involved. I am feeling success every moment and feel grateful to everything that happening.

Today , i thought wanna share something yet powerful when come to making money in business.

I conducted 1 day training today for a group of 50 odd aspiring home based entrepreneurs.

I find out most of them want to know what to do to expand their business.

so the tip for today is this.

3  Step   Process

Step 1—–Connect with your target market

You must always get to the people you want to do business with. Get connected to them through various means like network, offers, adverts, ect.

Step 2——Collect the list of leads

Give something to them in order to get their list, names and contacts.Build this list of contacts .

Step 3——Convert your List into Customers.

Offer them something valuable for a fee and turn them into your customers. Follow up and make them a loyal customer.

This will help you to expand……..

just do it……

This week Entrepreneur

Hi,

Abang Abu very excited to present to you one more young entrepreneur who had started her business despite lack of experience and start to build her business in the field that she choose.

He business located at Rochor Center near to Bugis MRT station.

Met her in a seminar and know that this young lady have so much drive and passion in bringing her business to level.

Lets read what she shared with us……

Enjoy and learn something from this interview.

1)What kind of business do you have? What inspired you to become an
Entrepreneur business owner?
Core business is the supply of aromatherapy and spa products to spas,
hotels, beauty/spa training schools and freelance therapists. The drive for
empowerment and self fulfillment inspires me.

2)Did you need to have a certain mindset to achieve success?
Need to be able to accept challenges, take risks, daring, willing to learn
and most importantly step outside of your comfort zone.
3)Have you noticed certain advantages to being an entrepreneur business
owner?
For me the advantages are - I am very involved in all aspects of decision
making (empowerment), flexibility of time, I reap what I sow, and there has
never been job dissatisfaction despite long hours.
4)Is it difficult to get financing for businesses? If so why and are there
any solutions?
Yes it will be difficult if the business model is a traditional set up and
is not yet/very profitable during the application for financing. More
opportunities for financing if the business idea is something new that fits
a need/void in the market or it has shown some profitability.
5)Did you have a mentor to help you get started?
No, more of advice from people who are/have been in business.
6)Approximately how much money did you invest before your business became
profitable?
$50,000
7)What resources were most helpful to you when you were starting your
business?
The internet
8)What ways have you found to be most effective in marketing your product
or service to get sales?
With a good, quality product, follow through all sales opportunities with
sincerity, do business with integrity leads to great referrals.
9)What tips can you give others who want to embrace their dream but, don’t
have the confidence or feel they don’t have what it takes to succeed?
Listen and learn from those who have been in business, including those that
have succeeded and failed. Make a judgement call and observe how they do/did
business – what qualities do those who succeed have in comparison to those
who failed. Learn from other’s mistakes. Know that if you don’t have it, you
can acquire it – be it knowledge or character building.
10)How do you manage juggling the responsibilities of being a entrepreneur?
Still work in progress. Prioritizing is important. Identify what you are
best at and focus your efforts. Example if I am good at sales, I should
spend valuable time doing more “profit making” work then spend time updating
expenses sheet. Leave that to others to help you out.
11)What’s next for you?
Diversify to include more range of items to supply the same market– related
items such as customized bath robes, spa accessories and decorative items
such as candle holders, lamps, bowls, trays. They need to be different from
those easily available in the market.

No More Excuses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DearAll,

Are you making  progress that you want  ?I am individually mentoring a dozen of individuals. Its just happen after talks and seminars that i do people want me to give advice and mentor them. It seems to be the natural results of knowing a lot of ambitious people and offer them advice whenever been asked for.

I always been asking them a lot of questions and it seems that common problem with most of them. They are all making excuse.

Are you moving forward at the pace you set for yourself? If not,  do this today:

1. Take out a sheet of paper and write down your current  Life Goals. You should have four of them .

2. Underneath or next to each,  list three main reason for not accomplishing it.

3.  Take a long hard look at those reasons. Then kiss them goodbye.

4.  Promise yourself you will never use them as excuse again.

This means you will never mention them to anyone. You wont talk about them when you are scared,  tired,  and never ever again  allow them a place in your speech. Nor will you provide them a berth in your thinking.

If you are going to fail, do so properly—–without excuses.

If you are going to succeed, you have to leave those excuses behing you.

NO MORE EXCUSES………………………………JUST DO IT.

This Week Entrepreneur

Hi . meet you again this monday with another young new start up who has the drive and passion in making it big in the business that she started.

Such a strong person with commitment in what she does. Lets hear from her what she have to say to all of us in this interview.

siswaty.jpgmylogo.gif

What kind of business do you have? What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Homemade Pleasures is my primary business, providing a 1 stop homemade goodies for festive occasion or any special events, ranging from cookies, cakes & dessert.
My passion in baking & cooking has inspired me to be an entrepreneur.

Did you need to have a certain mindset to achieve success?

Yeah, of course. This is so important. I am always thinking positive & always believe that I’ll be my own boss one day. One has to have a never-give-up spirit to achieve success. To me, success is a wonderful journey and I cherish every moment of the journey.

Have you noticed certain advantages to being an entrepreneur?

TIME & FREEDOM. That’s the advantage. Time to do the things that I like & enjoy. Freedom to do whatever I enjoy.

Is it difficult to get financing for businesses? If so why and are there any solutions?

I m not very sure about this. At the moment, my business is operating from home, thus that made me a homebizpreneur. I do dream of having a proper business, like having an industrial kitchen to tap to large market needs. Abg Abu, I need your help in this area…ok?

Did you have a mentor to help you get started?

When I 1st start, my motivator is my mom. She has always been encouraging me. My close frens has also give me their full support.

Approximately how much money did you invest before your business became profitable?

Not much. I m operating from home. An oven, a cake mixer & some cooking utensils, that total up to around $2,000.00

What resources were most helpful to you when you were starting your business?

Recipe books, online catering websites, food magazines

What ways have you found to be most effective in marketing your product or service to get sales?

At this moment, email & multiply website and also word of mouth.

What tips can you give others who want to embrace their dream but, don’t have the confidence or feel they don’t have what it takes to succeed?

I love this question. Attend MAP untuk KAYA programme!! I am a product of it. Mingle with successful people. Change mind set. Be positive to the maximum level. Keep on telling yourself that being successful & debt free is the best thing on earth.

How do you manage juggling the responsibilities of being a entrepreneur?

Its tough when I first start but once I see the fruits of it I enjoyed it. Its all in the mind. All of us have 24hrs a day. What I did is just managing my time well.

What’s next for you?

The cash flow quadrant, I m now in the E & S quadrant. I want to move into the B & I quadrant and I believe that this is POSSIBLE!!!

DPPMS Annual Dinner Event

Indeed it was a great event where about 800 people attended the event that was so grand and colourful. This event also witnesses the young fashion designers who display their work and also compete in the award for the best designer.

One thing that i am really happy that many young ones are now more willing and dare to take the risk and venture into business.

I believe that the only way to get rid of the procrastination in getting something started is just DO IT .

So why wait you can start to do something out of your interest and get it marketed globally.

How to do it….. www.nowasia.sg condcuting 1 day seminar by Dr Irfan Khairy www.rahsiainternet.com  this November 17th. You can attend or just let others know about it.
